Rovereto

Okay, depression over.

Rovereto is a little town in the Alps. Our host, Roberto, lives on his family's vineyards.

Nearby Lago di Garda, "the best lake in Italy!" according to our hosts.
I'm not arguing.

Ahhhh.

The venue was a big theater. We each had our own private dressing rooms!

We felt very theatrical, with so many full-length mirrors to choose from.
When we walked out on stage the audience applauded for a good thirty seconds.
It reminded me of what Vin Scully said about crowds at Dodger Stadium when
Koufax took the mound: "They didn't cheer, they applauded."
There would've been more people at the show, Roberto explained,
but everyone was marching in Rome. Props to everyone who marched in Rome.

After the show, yet another meal. Homemade wine, homemade cheese, homemade grappa. Omigod.
Thanks, you guys. You made my life.

And the next day, on the way to the airport: Goats!
